A few weeks ago I told you I signed up for the Awaken Your Health cleanse by my friends Amanda and Jackie of Crafted Wellness. Well it's been a little over a week since I completed the cleanse, and I wanted to tell you how much I loved it! This cleanse totally changed the way I eat, and think about food. I felt nourished and energized throughout the cleanse, and I really noticed a difference in the way my body felt after eating healthy foods. I was surprised to discover how tasty healthy foods can be, and I had a lot of fun shopping for and preparing wholesome, nutritious meals. I received a super helpful welcome packet at the start of the cleanse, and 40+ pages of recipes that I will continue to enjoy and experiment with. I highly recommend this cleanse to any friends looking to feel good and give their eating habits a boost! Making a commitment to the cleanse really helped me stick to it, and the daily support from Amanda and Jackie made it feel communal and fun. Before the cleanse, I didn't realize how bad my eating habits had become. Now that I pay better attention to taking care of my body, I feel lighter, more nourished and energized. I learned so many great tips on how to live a healthy lifestyle, and I encourage everyone to give it a try.

There were lots of yummy snacks to keep me satisfied between meals. Avocado on gluten-free bread or bananas with almond butter and cacao powder are some of my new favorites. I have the cooking abilities of a four year old, but thankfully these were super easy to whip up!
