For today's post, I enlisted the help of contributor Kate Cabiltes to curate a selection of ethically sourced home decor items. Kate Cabiltes is a freelance interior stylist and writer living in Queens. You can follow her on Instagram @fueledbywhimsy:
The buzz words 'fair trade' and 'ethically sourced' are becoming increasingly popular - and for good reason. While it's not always possible to know the origins of your favorite pieces, many companies are committing to working with international sources who treat their artisans well. Their products are gorgeous and have unique stories to tell. Equally as important, they treat the people who create these amazing pieces in a fair and ethical manner. Keep reading to see a few of my favorite picks for chic and neutral items which will make a beautiful statement in any room of your home.
