As one of my New Year's Resolutions for 2016, I'm striving to live more responsibly and do my part to help to reduce waste. During the cold winter months, I tend to pick up a hot yummy drink habit to stay warm and cozy. I know many people love coffee, but personally, I'm addicted to the Oprah Cinnamon Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks. If you've been using single-use cups for your daily caffeine fix, 2016 is the year to invest in a reusable beverage bottle! While disposable cups have been touted as wonderfully convenient for the past few decades, the truth is that they are very wasteful, and they don't just magically disappear when you throw them away. Even recyclable cups require energy to produce, ship, and recycle. Did you know that in the United States, people throw out 200 billion paper cups a year! That's a lot of waste generated that can very easily be avoided by carrying your own reusable container for on-the-go beverages, hot and cold. Sure, it takes a little time to get used to the new habit, but it's easy enough once you get into the swing of things. Plus, you get a 10 cent discount when you bring your own cup to Starbucks, and many other coffee/tea shops. If you resolved to be more eco-friendly this year, this is one easy step that you can take right now. Keep reading to see my round-up of stylish bottles that will be great for your on-the-go beverages!
